Additional information on funeral arragements: The viewing of the body will be held Friday 24, 2010 from 6-8 pm. And the actually funeral service will be on Saturday 26th at Love Tabernacle. I ask that all youth apart of V.W.O.D to please be in attendance to show support and give your love to her and her mother and brother. This is truly a hard lost because Rakeya was just beginning to start her adventurous life and began to grow into the woman that God created and although life was taken...NEW LIFE BEGINS. :-) Remember life is surely too short.
P.s> to all Parents: please take time out to recognize more of the great things your child has to offer and less of the negative. Because we see how short life can be, you should spend more time LOVING, HUGING & KISSING THEM, as oppose to fussing and arguing. Its not a bad thing parents to tell your child "I'M SORRY" Sometimes parents get caught up in the "I'M THE PARENT AND YOUR THE CHILD," but sometimes thats not always needed to be said. So lets use this terrible lost as an eye opener. LOVE EVERYBODY!!!

ReplyDeleteThe time I did get to spend with my baby was gravely appreciated and forever will be cherished from a father who got to know his child as well as her getting to know her dad and all the love we had for one another inspite of what she was told she got the to see herself that her dad not all bad, instead full of love so to all parent be sure your kid know that you love them no matter what so joy r.j Jon Jon I'll love you guys till I croak no matter what you all was told so just know that Dad
ReplyDeleteWow I'm just seeing your blog and it's crazy because as Rakeya bio Dad and invited to funeral as if it was her graduation wow I just pray people let go and let God but I'm grateful that the funeral home in Arkansas allowed me to view body and gave me part closure amen but it like I wrote that myself so thanks and my god bless you Raphel Farrelly Sr
